It was like they were all students in school who pretended not to notice when someone was getting bullied so they didn’t have to get involved in it. Half of the mass slaughter of the Holocaust was due to bullying by peer pressure. People felt pressured by others to turn in Jews to Nazi official s. They wanted to save themselves and let the Jews be persecuted.
